This user agreement ('the agreement') applies to all users of Chiquis.com ('the website'). The website is open for consumers worldwide. Terms and conditions stated in the agreement may be subject to change and users are advised to stay updated on the content of the agreement.
How to buy on the website
Consumers can buy items that have been previously owned and/or used by other consumers ('second hand items'). Transactions regarding second hand items can be made consumer to consumer ('second hand C2C') and/or business to consumer ('second hand B2C').
Consumers can also buy new items ('new items'). Transactions regarding new items can only be made business to consumer ('new B2C').
Transactions made between consumers are subject to conditions determined by Konsumentverket and Skatteverket; no right of regret or reclamation and no VAT is applicable. Transactions made business to consumer are subject to regular conditions, including right of regret and reclamation and VAT according to Swedish law.
Upon claiming right of return, the consumer needs to return the purchased item within 2 days from delivery date. The item must be returned to Chiquis in as good condition as the item was when initially delivered to the consumer. Should Chiquis determine otherwise, Chiquis holds the unlimited right to reduce the return payment to any amount less than the item's selling price on the website. Chiquis only refunds return shipping costs upon faulted deliveries and/or delivery of defect items. Always return items with original packing and original tags intact.

Brand new: A brand new item from supplier.
With Tags: A never worn garnment with tags.
Mint: An item that is as perfect and pristine as when it was originally made and shows no sign of wear.
Near mint: An item that shows only the slightest signs of wear.
Excellent: An item that shows typical signs of wear due to occasional use.
Very good: An item that is considered wearable but has some surface flaws, e.g. staining or soiling.
Good: An item that is wearable but cannot be returned to excellent condition even if repairs are made.
How to sell on the website
The website only allows selected users to sell second hand items, i.e. second hand C2C. Users are accepted as sellers by invitation only. Users looking to apply for an invitation may send a formal request to email@example.com.
Items sold as second hand B2C and new B2C are sold by Chiquis.
Transactions and fees
The website offers consumers access to third party payment intermediary, PayPal, in order to complete transactions.
Commission on second hand C2C is 30% of the item's selling price on the website. Commission includes 25% VAT.
Chiquis only allows selected users to sell second hand items, i.e. second hand C2C, on the website. Should Chiquis suspect a user of selling non-authentic second hand items on the website, the user's right to sell items on the website will be terminated with immediate effect and the user will not have any right to receive any payment for sold items and/or sold items in return.
When sourcing new items, i.e. new B2C, Chiquis only deals with brand owners and official local distributors. When sourcing second hand B2C, Chiquis only deals with professional second hand retailers.
Chiquis guarantees product and brand authenticity for items sold as new B2C only.
Delivery is made by the Swedish postal service, Posten. Second hand C2C and second hand B2C are normally shipped within 24-36 hours. New B2C are normally shipped the following Monday at latest. Allow up to 5 days to pass from shipment date to delivery date. For international deliveries and/or express deliveries, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Chiquis holds unlimited rights to publish content (text and pictures) provided by website users. Users may only provide content that are not in conflict with any other party's intellectual property rights, including trademark and patent rights. Chiquis has unlimited rights to share user generated content with third party affiliates.
Chiquis stores user information in accordance with privacy protection standards stipulated in the Swedish Personal Data Act. Chiquis has unlimited rights to share user data with third party affiliates.
The agreement is subject to Swedish law. Any disputes should be resolved through (1) informal agreement between the parties of the agreement (2) Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (3) Stockholms Tingsrätt.
